"Water Wings" läuft auf dem Common Goods International Filmfestival in den USA, sowie auf dem Slemani International Filmfestival und dem Kobane Filmfestival.
Water Wings” tourt erfolgreich auf internationalen Festivals. Wir freuen und, dass der Film beim Common Goods in den USA läuft. Zum Festival: “We celebrate the work of filmmakers that tell the stories of those dedicated to the benefit of humanity.” Das Slemani International Film Festival ist eines der größten Filmfestivals im Nahen Osten und nach dem Screening von “Tanz mit Monstern” wird hier auch mein neuer Film “Water Wings” präsentiert.
Ein wunderbares Projekt ist auch das Kobane Film Festival: “In 2015, four years into the Syrian Civil War, the autonomous northern region of Rojava saw its first “Rojava Film Days”. For a week, films from all around the region and the world, such as Charlie Chaplin’s “The Kid”, were screened in the six main cities of Northern Syria. From 2016 onwards our cinema travelled throughout Rojava’s villages in order to give a greater access to film to people without resources and in isolated areas. Now the festival takes place in Kobane. This lively celebration of arts and cinema will take place around the themes of resistance, women and cultural sovereignty.” Es ist wunderbar zu sehen für mich als Autorin, Regisseurin und Schauspielerin, dass unser Film über Freundschaft so viele Menschen über die Grenzen von Ländern und Kulturen hinweg erreicht.
