In the Vielpfalz Newspaper, a beautiful portrait of my work was published. We particularly discussed my current film and dance production of "Sacre du Printemps" with the German National Philharmony
The following portrait was featured in the latest issue of Vielpfalz:
Isabella Freilinger: Writer, Director, Actress
"Where can we find space for the large orchestra ensemble and also for dancing? Does such a place even exist?" This question occupied Isabella Freilinger and the team of the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz regarding Igor Stravinsky's ballet music "Le Sacre du Printemps". With the Ludwigshafen Friedrich-Ebert-Halle - pictured above - a venue with "a very special atmosphere" was found, the author, director, and actress is sure. The concert performance (Thu, 8. 9., 7:30 pm) will be staged as "a modern fairy tale for all generations". In addition to music, film sequences and dance ranging from ballet to hip-hop to social dance will create a special live performance. A tailor-made project for Freilinger, who has been living in Heidelberg in the Kurpfalz region for eleven years, and who develops and implements ideas for television stations, film producers, and cultural institutions. The multi-artist, born in 1991 in Bludenz, Austria, who particularly likes Stravinsky's music, has created a contemporary story for the Eberthalle. "A woman follows a group of environmentalists into the magical forest and experiences herself as part of nature," says Freilinger, who is fascinated by the teamwork involved in the project. It's also exciting, she says, to see how an idea evolves in the process. It grew so big that the Ebert-Halle is needed to realize it.
